New Good Food Garden at Seed Charter School in Washington DC is unveiled by Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack!

Food Network, Share Our Strength and Teich Garden Systems were honored to have Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack unveil the latest Good Food Garden at the Seed Charter School located in our nations capitol. Secretary Vilsack was joined by Billy Shore, founder of Share our Strength, and by Michael Smith and Aida Mollenkamp of Food Network.

Several dozen students from the Seed School came out and planted starter veggies. They were assisted by Secretary Vilsack, who wanted to "get his hands dirty" in the garden. Aida took control of some of the students with help from Sarah Copeland of Food Network and instructed the children on where the plants should be placed for optimum growth.

Congratulations to all involved for a job well done!
