The Children's Aid Society Dunlevy Milbank Boys & Girls Club serves hundreds of children and families in Central Harlem with social, recreational, educational and health programs. Teich Garden Systems was brought in to transform an existing problematic garden into a user-friendly one. Along with our partners from Food Network & Share Our Strength our crews succeeded in creating a little piece of paradise smack dab in the middle of Harlem!
Visitors to the lot follow a pathway, walk underneath a pergola and find themselves at the gate to a brand new 18 x 32 Good Food Garden. The kids at the club have already planted their first crops and are looking forward to tending their upcoming harvest.
